106.9 The Eagle salutes elementary school kids for all the FANTASTIC things they're doing in the classroom, in the school and in the community!

Nominate a 1st through 5th grade class at an elementary school in Maryland, West Virginia or Pennsylvania to be our FANTASTIC SCHOLASTICS!

Once a month we'll pick a winning class and come to their classroom with passes to Adventure Park USA, awesome t-shirts from Embroid Me of Frederick and $100 for the class to do something fantastic with courtesy of McDonalds.

Remember, it can be anything that the class is doing that is fantastic....everyone got an A on their spelling test or the class did a science project that helped the environment or the class helped people in need.

The FANTASTIC 3rd graders at Berkeley Heights Elementary School visit the residents at Care Haven Nursing Home in Martinsburg every month and play cards and read to the residents.

The Girls on the Run Club at Walkersville Elementary School did a Pet Adoption Drive and raised money, awareness and even dog treats for the Animal Welfare League of Frederick!!

Congrats to the FANTASTIC Boys Read Club at Kemptown Elementary School for raising money for the American Red Cross Typhoon Relief efforts!

Congratulations to the Green Team at Damascus Elementary School!  This group of 3rd and 4th graders goes around the school teaching classes about recycling, picks up trash around the school and organizes environmental spirit days.  They're using their $100 from McDonalds to donate to an organization that keeps our environment safe for animals.
