Patriot Ride & BBQ Bash

The Brunswick Eagle Riders group, a sub-group of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #1136, invites the public to join forces with the F.O.E. this Memorial Day Weekend to help honor our troops with the 2nd annual Patriot Ride & BBQ Bash Saturday, May 25, 2013, to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.

The event is open to the public with a registration cost of $20 for each bike and $10 for each passenger. General admission to the BBQ bash following the ride is $10 for adults and $5 for children under 10. Registration will be open from 9-11 a.m. on the morning of the ride at the Brunswick Eagles, located at 401 Central Ave. BBQ afterwards will have Vendors, Beer Tent, Kid Zone, Biker Games and live music from Burn The House and Sound Assassins.

106.9 The Eagle will be on-hand during registration playing great classic hits and giving you a chance to win prizes!

Mark your calendars for the 4th Annual Crabby Daddy's Benefit Motorcycle Ride for JDRF on June 8, 2013! The Eagle will be there at the start of the ride from 8:30 to 10am and then again for the party afterward from 2pm until 4pm!

Registration will be held at the Buckeystown Pub (6803 Michaels Mill Road, Buckeystown, MD 21717) at 8:30am with kickstands up at 10:00am. There will be stops at Taverna 5450, (5450 Fairfield Road, Fairfield, PA 17320) and Gunner's Grille at Taneytown (5525 Taneytown Pike, Taneytown, MD 21787).

The ride will end at the Buckeystown Pub where the fun begins! There will be special entertainment courtesy of Poverty Ridge, The Bobby Lewis Blues Band and Alkatraz. The event also features a guest appearance by Alex Elman of Alex Elman Wine Company. Alex personally travels the globe with her Seeing Eye Dog, General. She unearths correctly made, honest, authentic and organic wines. There will be a Silent Auction and Raffle to win a new Fender Electric Guitar signed by Johnny Winter!

Registration for the event is $25 for riders and $15 for passengers. There are also sponsorship opportunties available. All are welcome at the Buckeystown Pub after party.
