Cirque Italia

Come see the Cirque Italian entertainment company, Cirque Italia, that brings a performance of European style to America. It is described as a "Vivid, dramatic, and moving experience". Cirque Italia presents"

Cool Cats

Tommy Shines will be playing an acoustic show to benifit Tip Me Frederick.  Join this evenign to help feral, stray and barn cats.  Tickets will be available in advance for $20 and at the door for $25.  

All ages are welcome!  There will be a silent auction as well as door prizes.  The first drink is on the house and appetizers are included.

Taste of Frederick

Families and Foodies are invited to the Taste of Frederick event on Sunday, July 19th at Nymeo Field at Harry Grove STadium form 12pm-3pm.

Over 15 restaurants will set up serving stations at the stadium for attendees to sample their summer favorites.  Participating restaurants include Buffalo Wild Wings, CarterQue, Mamma Lucia, Noodles & Company, Pie Five, Starvin Marvin and more!

The full list of participants will be announced by the Frederick News Post in July.

Aportion of the day's proceeds will be donated to the Maryland ProStart Program-a nationwide, two yhear high school program that unites the classroom and industry to develop the bst and brightest talents into tomorro's restaurant and foodswervice leaders.

Tickets are available by visiting www.frederickkeys.com or by visiting www.marylandrestaurants.com/events .  Advance tickets can be purchased for $25.  Kids 12 years and under are FREE!  Ticket prices includes unlimited signature tastes from every restaurant, kid's fun zone, a Frederick KEys baseball game against the Potomac Nationals and fireworks! 

Advance pricing end Wednesday, July 15th at midnight, after which time, tickets can then be purchased for $30 at the door.

PraiseFest2

Our church will be holding our 2nd annual PraiseFest to bring our community together with a day of praise and worship with several bands, Disney bounce house, dunk tank, graffiti wall, games, prizes, silent auction, tournaments with food and fun for all. The theme for this year's PraiseFest is "PraiseFest for Youth." All proceeds from this event will go toward our Youth Outreach Ministry by funding activities such as camping/hiking, lock-ins, worship concerts, church camp, youth retreats and special speakers that will focus on issues that our youth face each day. Come out an enjoy a day of worship, fun, food and fellowship with us.

Poor BBQ Dinner Fundraiser

The Brunswick Volunteer Company Ladies Auxiliary at 200 West Potomac Street in Brunswick will host a port BBQ with corn, homemade cole slaw and baked beans.  Cost is $10 for 11 and up and $5 for 6-10 years old.  Doors open at 4 and goes 'til 7 or until sell-out.

Family Drive-In Movie Night

Cumberland Valley Chapter Young Professionals, are doing a Family Drive-In Movie School Drive Event on August 7th. I requested the movie "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2" $10 a carload if they bring a school supply or $15 a carload without a School Supply. We are welcoming people to bring their classic cars out and having a nostalgic theme. All donations and supplies are staying local to support our community.

Glow Run

Down Right Spectacular Car Show

Head to the Macy's end of the FSK Mall in Frederick on August 8th for the Down Right Spectacular Car Show to benefit F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Down Syndrome Support Group.  Antiques, Hot Rods, Performance, Luxury, American and Imports, all years and classes with judging and awards in multiple classes.  Entrance fee is $5 per person and children 10 and under are free.  Event shirts for a minimum $20 donation.

Main Street Middletown 5K Fun Run

Grab your running shoes and head down to Main Street for the Heart of Middletown 5K Fun Run 2015!

Thisi s a certified course through downtown Middletown for family fun!  There will be live music, medals and awards.  Proceeds from this event will benefit Main Street Middletown and Middletown Branch Frederick County Libraries.
