Feral Feast

Tip Me Frederick, in cooperation with multiple area restaurants, will host a Feral Feast on Thursday, October 15, 2015 from 5 to 9pm.  Vini Culture and Texas Roadhouse in Frederick, Morgan’s American Grill in New Market, and The Main Cup in Middletown will generously donate a portion of proceeds from sales during the event to Tip Me Frederick.  Dine at your choice of participating restaurants to spay a stray.

This event is one of hundreds taking place across the country in honor of National Feral Cat Day launched in 2001 by Alley Cat Allies, the national advocate for feral and stray cats and the foremost authority on Trap-Neuter-Return.  Through Trap-Neuter-Return, feral cats are humanely trapped, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and returned to their outdoor home with a committed caregiver.  Hundreds of local governments now have ordinances endorsing Trap-Neuter-Return, which is rapidly becoming the predominant approach to feral cats.

Celebrate National Feral Cat Day by enjoying a delicious meal with your family at participating restaurants to save the lives of feral cats in our neighborhoods.  Bring a flyer from our website at www.tipmefrederick.org to Texas Roadhouse.  At all other restaurants, just tell your server you are there for the event. All funds raised will directly benefit the cats in Tip Me Frederick’s Trap-Neuter-Return and barn cat programs.

For more information about the Feral Feast event, contact Barbara Wratten at 301-845-1061 or e-mail info@tipmefrederick.org.  For more information about National Feral Cat Day, see www.alleycat.org/NFCD
