Tonight is the carillon concert featuring holiday music, led by city carillonneur John Widmann following Frederick’s Festival of Lights event. The Festival of Lights begins at 7p.m., and then at Baker Park in downtown Frederick, attendees are invited to climb the steps of the 80-foot tower to view the instrument and watch Widmann perform.
Also tonight, is the Hagerstown tree lighting and Hollyfest. The tree lighting is at 5p.m. in Public Square in downtown Hagerstown and then at 7p.m. is the 24th annual Hollyfest across the street at The Maryland Theater, 21 S. Potomac Street. Everybody’s welcome to go out and enjoy the Maryland International Harvester Club Chapter 39 annual Parade and 6th Harvester Program tomorrow at H. B. Duvall Inc., located at 901 E. Every December people from near and far gather at the Antietam National Battlefield to light just over 23 thousand luminaries in memory of the casualties from the bloodiest single-day battle of the Civil War. Tomorrow starting at 6p.m is the 25th annual Antietam National Battlefield Memorial Illumination.
