The Hub City Bike Week kicks off today in Hagerstown/Washington County and runs through Sunday July 8th. Motorcycle enthusiasts will enjoy a week of live entertainment and customized group rides, to food and drink specials with a local flavor. Don’t miss the Parade of Lighted Bikes, tomorrow night 7-8 beginning at Twigg Cycles. The parade will ride through Hagerstown, to Creekside Inn, for a lighted bike show. Tomorrow, enjoy 4th of July festivities with Shepherdstown’s 4th of July Parade and Picnic. The parade will be on German Street at 11am, and the Picnic will be from noon to 3pm at Morgan’s Grove Park Pavilion. Continue Independence Day celebrations in Downtown Frederick for July First Saturday! It's the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Monocacy, when Frederick city was held Ransom. On Sunday, head to War Memorial Park in Martinsburg, WV for USO in the Park. The park will be alive with music as local bands and entertainers perform for area veterans and the public. USO in the Park is hosted by Disabled America Veterans Chapter 8 and will run from 10-5pm.
