Today is Deaf Awareness Day. Head to the Valley Mall, 17301 Valley Mall Road, Hagerstown for this free event from 10a.m. to 3p.m. Visit more than 20 community organizations and businesses providing services to the deaf and hard-of-hearing community by Center Court near Bon-Ton.

Tomorrow from 8a.m. to 2p.m. is Funfest at Shiloh United Methodist Church, 19731 Shiloh Church Road, Hagerstown. Admission for Funfest is free, so grab the family and enjoy a live band, Mason-Dixon Antique Car Cruise-in, vendors and crafts, flea market, silent auction, children’s activities, and a cake walk.  For more information log on to shilohumchagerstownmd.com.

It’s the Frederick Celtic Festival at the Mount Airy Carnival Grounds, 1008 Twin Arch Road, Mount Airy. Tomorrow from 9a.m-6p.m., enjoy music on two stages with a variety of bands. There will also be Scottish athletes, dancing, living history, British car show, food and vendors, dog exhibitions, pipe bands, children’s tent, Scottish clans and Guinness beer.  The festival benefits Operation Second Chance, a Wounded Warrior charity. Don’t miss the 6th Annual Boonsboro Green Fest tomorrow from 10a.m.-5p.m. at Shafer Park, Park Drive, Boonsboro. More than 170 eco-friendly vendors have registered to participate, as well as a kid’s zone, seminars, live music and food. New for this year are beer and wine tasting and a health fitness tent.
