The event begins at the corner of South Carroll and West Patrick Streets in Frederick at 6:30pm and ends in Baker Park with the lighting of the City Tree. After the procession all are invited to head to the Baker Park Bandshell for a closing ceremony, and to join the City of Frederick Mayor and procession characters in the singing of holiday tunes and the lighting of the Baker Park tree. Downtown merchants will provide drink recipes to guests from 3-9p.m. and the streets will be filled with sounds of the season with carolers and other live entertainment. Sunday is the First Ever Ho Ho Ho Show Holiday and Craft Bazaar from 10a.m.-4p.m. Over 65 vendors will set up shop at The Frederick News-Post at 351 Ballenger Center Drive in Frederick with free kids ornament painting, gift wrap onsite and photos with Santa.
