It’s popcorn and Big Screen time! It may be cold and gray outside, but perfect to catch the latest flick. Opening in theaters tonight is “American Hustle”, starring Christian Bale, Amy Adams, Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence.  If you’re looking for a place where right and wrong dissolved from black and white to shades of grey, this comedy is built around the 1970’s ABSCAM scandal, and a wide range of FBI sting operations from the golden age of such stings. “American Hustle” is opening this weekend and rated R.

It’s the third Saturday in December which means tomorrow highlights “Merry” in the Eat, Drink & be Merry in Downtown Frederick. From 3-9p.m. visitors can collect recipe cards from participating merchants and bind them together for their own Frederick-inspired recipe book.
